The Queen's 90th birthday celebrations

Today has been a special day to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.

Mrs Diane Lawry started the day with an assembly for both Infants and Junior school which introduced and explained the activities all linked to the story book - The Queen's Hat by Steve Antony.

Lunchtime saw both schools heading out to the playground to eat their special celebration lunch on long decorated tables - thank goodness for the warm weather! Lunchtime finished with Mr Dan White leading all the children from our Nursery, the Infant school and the Junior school in a very loud and exciting dance routine.

During the day all the children had written stories based around The Queen's hat which they shared across the schools.
