  Thank you to all the families who completed the homework task and sent their model castles into school.  They really were tremendous to see.  They looked amazing in the hall.  Thank you for all your support with this task.  We hoped you enjoyed making them as much as we enjoyed seeing them.

• The Queen's 90th birthday celebrations

  Today has been a special day to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.

  Mrs Diane Lawry started the day with an assembly for both Infants and Junior school which introduced and explained the activities all linked to the story book - The Queen's Hat by Steve Antony.

   

  Lunchtime saw both schools heading out to the playground to eat their special celebration lunch on long decorated tables - thank goodness for the warm weather! Lunchtime finished with Mr Dan White leading all the children from our Nursery, the Infant school and the Junior school in a very loud and exciting dance routine.

   

  During the day all the children had written stories based around The Queen's hat which they shared across the schools.

  Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!

   

• Congratulations to the winner of the questionnaire draw!

  I am pleased to be able to tell you that Mr and Mrs Oates had the winning questionnaire (number 157) and have been presented with the £20 Tesco voucher.

   

  There was a tremendous response with 127 questionnaires being returned.  I will now be analysing what they say and will publish the findings to all parents.
